Sardines wrapped in bacon recipe

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Serves: 5–6

  • 6 sardines, cleaned
  • 6 bacon strips
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) curry paste
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) oil
  • Spring fresh dill, chopped
  • Lemon wedges to serve
  1. Preheat grill to 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, curry paste, oil and dill.
  3. Spread mixture inside sardines, close and wrap with bacon..
  4. Place in a baking tray and grill for 8–10 minutes.
  5. Serve with lemon wedges.
