Mini Chocolate Pies recipe
Mini Chocolate Pies
Prep time: 10 mins
Cook time: 20 mins
Total time: 30 mins
Serves: 6
Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped chocolate
  • 1 cup minced fruit
  • 1 lemon rind
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 roll short pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Combine chocolate, minced fruit, lemon rind and juice.
  3. Cut out 8 – 10 pastry discs using a round pastry cutter and place on greased muffin tray. Spoon the filling in. Cut star shapes with remaining pastry, and place on top. Brush with beaten egg.
  4. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes. Serve hot.
