Iyanla Vanzant on how to let go of fear during the coronavirus outbreak

The outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19 has seen many people live in fear of contracting the virus. To help curb the fear and look beyond it world-renowned motivational speaker Iyanla Vanzant has shared how to let go of the fear in order to learn valuable lessons from this crisis.

In the video shared on social media, Iyanla kicked off with an affirmation you can repeat every day saying in part; “I am fearless and courageous. I am able to accomplish all that I set my mind to do.  I am protected by the universe. I am looking forward to the future with happiness and hope.”

Iyanla also spoke on how living in fear prevents you from learning the lessons during this time. She said in part; “Fear will obscure your vision. And you cannot and will not see the future or how to solve the problem if you’re busy managing and navigating and preoccupied with fear. You gotta face it, surrender the fear long enough to ask yourself, ‘what is the lesson? what am I learning or what am I unlearning?'”
