Penny Penny sets his sights on becoming Limpopo premier

by All4Women

Flamboyant Musician and  TV personality Papa Penny Penny apparently has his sights set on being the premier of Limpopo

Penny Penny told TshisaLIVE that he decided to campaign for the position because he wanted to help bring about change in his hometown, Giyani.

The TV star said he was tired of witnessing the “inequality and tribalism” in the community.

“I am waiting for the next meeting of counsellors for my name to be nominated for the position. We are still waiting for our ANC provincial conference to happen after all the delays but when it happens, I will stand up and challenge Stanley (current premier). He has not changed anything in the area and I challenge him to step down,” Penny Penny said.

Penny Penny said that it was his dream to see Limpopo united as “one people”.

“I am not an opposition. I am an ANC member and will always be one. I just believe that more has to be done for the people in Limpopo. I am the perfect person because I am clean and I can bring change to Limpopo,” he added.
