Reasons why your husband may want you to breastfeed him

While breastfeeding your husband can be considered out of the ordinary for most people, it is completely normal for others. Couples choose to partake in this intimate feeding session for several reasons.

Verywell Family explains that with adult breastfeeding (also known as erotic lactation), some people are more sensitive to breast stimulation during this time and enjoy the sensation of breastfeeding their partners. “Sharing this intimate experience with another adult can be satisfying for both of you, and it could bring you closer together as a couple.”

The above-mentioned publication has listed four reasons why your hubby may want you to breastfeed him.

They want to feel a sense of inclusion

As parents of a breastfed baby, your spouse may feel your breasts are off limits, only reserved for the little one. By allowing your partner to access your breasts – with your permission, of course – they will feel included in the nursing experience.

They want to taste your breast milk

Curiosity can get the best of us, especially for things we may not have tried before, like the taste of breast milk.

They want to fulfil a fantasy

“Your partner may be turned on by your lactating breasts, or they may have a sexual fantasy that involves breastfeeding,” explains Verywell Family. “So, as long as you feel comfortable, this is a fantasy that you can safely experience with your partner.”

They think it will benefit their health

While breast milk has been used as a home remedy for certain conditions, it is important to note that consuming breast milk has no research-proven health benefits for adults.
