It is finally the season of love and everyone cannot wait to share it with their better halves.

Although you might want to spoil and spend a whole lot on your partner this year, your budget may not allow you to do so. However, that is still no reason to let the season pass you by.

Here some budget friendly ways you can spoil your significant other on Valentines day:

Stay cations

Your ideal getaway with your significant other might be chasing the sunset on a romantic island. However, staycations also work.

Think about having a romantic set up in your apartment or cheap airbnb. Use this time alone to bond and have fun together.

Have a spa day

If you can’t go to the spa, consider having the spa day at home. What better way to spend the day with the love of your life and some massages.

Get some scented oils and candles, wine and clean sheets and give your partner an experience they will never forget.

Cook their favourite meal

If part of your partner’s love languages is acts of service, cooking for them will make them feel loved and appreciated.

While you wait for the food to cook, you can play some board games, listen to your favourite album or watch a movie.

Plan a picnic

If you both are into outdoor activities then going to a picnic is something you both will equally enjoy.

Buy your favourite snacks, visit a botanical garden and enjoy some alone time away from the noise of the city.
