There has been a huge interest from women everywhere in the world to undergo the BBL cosmetic procedure. For those interested or planning to gift themselves with this procedure, it is important to do a full research prior. It is also important to do research of the place you’ve picked for your surgery.

The Brazilian butt lift is a cosmetic procedure that involves the transfer of fat to the person’s buttocks to help create more fullness. The procedure starts with liposuction where a surgeon sucks fat out of areas in the body, then processes and injects it into the buttocks and hips.

The procedure is a surgery, therefore like many surgical procedures one can expect bruising, a numb feeling, soreness and some swelling. These are all temporary and should get better once you’ve taken the prescribed pain medication.

Vida Wellness Beauty shares that it is important to know that there is a recovery period, which requires attention and care at home. Your routine will have to change, you also need to understand that you will be expected to use devices such as a compressor garment and a special pillow for sitting.

Right after surgery vidawellnessbeauty says, you should wait for the anaesthesia to wear off. You then need to stay overnight at a clinic if you stay far from where you had you procedure done. After the procedure you will need to avoid sitting directly on the buttocks for the first three to four weeks following the procedure to establish the injection fat.

Vida Wellness Beauty also adds, it takes roughly 6 to 8 weeks for the healing to be enjoyed. After six weeks one can even exercise the lower body without any restrictions as at this stage, 80 to 100% healing should be achieved.
