When it comes to daddy duties and challenging stereotypes, Siya Kolisi does not take it lightly. The Springboks captain was recently seen in a video clip posted by his wife Rachel Kolisi trying to comb his daughter Keziah’s curly hair but things got a little complicated when it came to adding a hair tie.

“Yoh,” the Springboks captain is heard saying in utter confusion. He later added: “I couldn’t move my fingers.”

He captioned his Instagram post saying: “Weekend nosapho.”

In the end, Siya received an A for effort from his loyal fans.

One social media user wrote: “I’m here for the ‘yho!!!’ in the second video ??.”

“???? Second frame ??she doesn’t look happy though ? uzamile akfani bhuti,” wrote a fan of the star athlete.

Another fan added: “Sometimes we forget that our Kolisi legend is a father wanting to do basic and simple activities with his kids. Love this.”

In 2020, Siya also urged males to assist with household cleaning, and he received praise from the public, particularly women.

The star athlete announced to his followers while mopping the floor in the video clip he shared online, that he was “starting a challenge for males! You may win a personalised rugby T-shirt if you tag me in your articles about cooking or cleaning the house.”
