Watch: Nadia Nakai rehearses AKA’s song

In a video that surfaced on social media, Kairo and AKA’s girlfriend Nadia Nakai were seen rehearsing with a band.

Bragga, who was also the girlfriend of the late South African rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes famously known as AKA, is set to perform at the Galaxy 947 Joburg Day, TshisaLIVE reported. The Galaxy 947 Joburg Day will pay tribute to AKA.  The show is set to take place on 2 September, 2023.

The above-mentioned publication further reported that the tribute performances will include K.O, Khuli Chana, Yanga Chief, Thato Saul, and Da L.E.S. 

The Young, Famous & African star took to her Instagram to share behind-the-scenes footage of her preparing for the show.

She captained the post saying: “Rehearsals x @themegaband for @947joburg Day Tribute performance.”

Many people flooded her comments section with excitement:

“Please do more of his songs when you perform anywhere ???? I hope it can become part of your healing and not reawaken the pain ?? you performing his songs looks so good mama ❤️,” wrote a fan.

Another excited fan added: “Mega would be so proud ?.”

“Umntu ka AKA… We love u mama… Keep going.❤️,” said social media user.

While another social media user said, “?this is beautiful mama bragga ??❤️.”

Actress and radio presenter Thando Thabethe also took to the Young, Famous & African star’s comments section, expressing her eagerness for the show. “Cannot wait!!!!” she wrote.
