Vanessa Marawa is back at Vuma FM!

Vuma FM is a Durban-based radio station established in 2012 and is one of the biggest commercial radio stations in KwaZulu Natal.

According to ZiMoja, the radio station recently made the announcement that Vanessa Marawa will be co-hosting the midday show iCrush yo Lova with Vincent Mgenge daily from 12 to 3 pm.

Vanessa was doing the same show before she left the station a few years ago for television.

Vanessa was crowned the winner of the first season of Survivor SA in 2006. The radio personality survived 29 days and won R1 million for her endurance.

On social media, Vanessa wrote: “The cat’s out the bag! I’m beyond excited to be back on the station with the best listeners @vumafm. Join iCrush yo Lova with @mankini_mgenge from Monday 3 July 2023! 12h00 – 15h00! Ungasho ukuthi angishongo… It’s going to be delicious.”

Minor lineup changes were also revealed by the station. The Vuma FM Breakfast Show will continue to be hosted by Mzokoloko, who joined the station in February 2022, along with Gabriel Sithole and Nombuso Mkhwanazi, who won the station’s presenter hunt. The Weekend Extragavanza show, hosted by Linda Mothao from 10:00 to 14:00, has been added to the weekend lineup, which has mostly remained the same. Khosi Magubane will present a brand-new segment called Vuma Sakhane, which will air on Saturdays from 11:00 to 12:00. Presenters of the station’s specialty shows Nhlanhla Mkhanya, who hosts the business and financial programme It’s All About Money, and Neo Potswana, who hosts Current Affairs, remain the same.
