Uncle Waffles to perform at Coachella 2023

South African DJ Uncle Waffles has made it onto the prestigious Coachella 2023 lineup.

Coachella is an International annual music and arts festival. Uncle Waffles will be performing amongst the world’s biggest musicians at the world’s biggest and most famous music and arts festivals in April, which takes place in California.

The music festival features a wide range of artists that cuts across plenty of genres including Afrobeat, house, Soulful, EDM, Hip-hop and most recently Amapiano. The Tanzania hit maker will be the first ever Amapiano female DJ to perform at the festival.

Uncle Waffles whose real name is Lungelihle Zwane took to social to announce the exciting news. “Crying … vomiting… screaming,” she said.

South Africans have been failing to stay calm since the announcement, they have flooded social media with excitement and sweet congratulatory messages to the 22 year-old Swazi DJ.
