South African singer and DJ Tyler ICU remembers late Riky Rick on his 36th heavenly birthday.

The Mnike hitmaker wrote a heartfelt note in which he described how the late star helped him on his music career.

Tyler ICU said besides Riky trying to help him grow his music career, he was like a brother as he would sometimes check up on him.

Taking to his Instagram timeline Tyler wrote the following:

“The vision that saw when you first heard of my production it’s finally coming true.”

“I remember you use to come fetch at Tembisa with @morestyns with my funny look computer to your studio where we made such amazing songs together some, they will never get to hear those songs.”

“The were days you would call me at a random night and ask me if I was doing okay. You are forever my big brother learned a lot from you and sometimes I would find it weird when you would ask me if this song is a hit or not because I looked up to you and I still do high key,” he added.

“You and @drpeppalive gave me my first big hip hop song and that has been life changing for me. When we made ungazincishi it took us a whole 4 months to actually make it a hit. Am forever grateful for meeting you. Happy birthday big bro. Forever in our hearts,” he concluded.
