The Rise of Siya Kolisi to screenplay in Paris

The Kolisi’ seem to have settled in nicely at their new home in Paris, even enjoying fun outings around the city as a family.

Finding themselves in a new city thousands of miles away from their loved ones, Rachel has kept cute updates on her social media, putting many of their followers at ease as some have shared their understanding of the strain that relocation can cause on the family.

Rachel and Siya’s move came after the first black Springbok captain signed with Paris’s Racing 92 rugby team earlier this year on a deal that is set commence after the World Cup up to the 2026 end of season.

Doing amazing work as the Siya Kolisi Foundation, Rachel shared that Siya’s film Rise of Siya Kolisi  story is to make its debut in Paris.

Taking to her social media to share the news, Rachel shared a picture of their first screening of the film in Zwide, a township situated in the Eastern Cape’s Gqeberha.

She captioned her post:

“I can’t believe that a few months ago we were sitting at the very first screening of RISE the Siya Kolisi story in Zwide, the community where Siya grew up. And this week we will have the first screening in the middle of Paris!”

She further added:

“The @kolisi_foundation along with @ihghotels has worked really hard to make sure this will be a night to remember! So grateful to everyone who has supported so far! Only a few tickets left, unfortunately being a cinema set up seats are limited ❤️. Hope to see you there.”
