“I want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me. I honestly don’t know why you guys voted for me, but I guess I’ll find out soon,” Khosi said ecstatically in a video after being announced the winner.

Sure, Khosi may have played a strong game, but she has you to thank! And she does.

Nigerian fan favorite Kanaga finished as the first runner-up. Kanaga, a model and actor, describes himself as a “sensitive young man who adores older women.”

Ipeleng, the first candidate to advance to the finals, was, ironically, the first finalist to be eliminated.

In a statement she made shortly after she left the house, she described her time in the competition as  “beautiful but crazy.” Although she admits to being a little shy going into the competition, she left with more confidence.

The reality show was a platform for contestants to exchange South African and Nigerian cultures, as well as intrigues, loves, battles, and heartbreak. Many of the housemates said that they learnt new things about the customs of the participants from other nations.

Mayorlun, a Nigerian performer, and DJ Maphorisa, a South African, both delivered electrifying performances during the grand finale.
