Sithelo Shozi to judge on The Masked Singer

Social media influencer and popular DJ, Sithelo Shozi is set to make her mainstream television debut on a new TV show called The Masked Singer.

The mother of three will be a judge ‘detective’ on the SABC 3 show. This new show was revealed some months ago, and the detective panels are Somizi Mhlongo, J’Something, Skhumba, with Sithelo as the only woman.

Taking to Instagram, the DJ confirmed the exciting news and revealed how grateful she is to be working with some great industry people.

“Grateful to be one of the detectives of The Masked Singer South Africa. It’s still so surreal! To be on this platform and work with these incredible people I work with is very mind-blowing. I can’t wait for you all to see the show. We are coming to SABC 1 & SABC 3 soon. Thank you for believing in me,” she wrote.

Mpho Popps is the host of the show. Phil Mphela, entertainment commentator confirmed the news saying, “Mpho Pops to host South Africa’s version of The Masked Singer #TheMaskedSingerSA will air on SABC.”

Phil also revealed that Anele Mdoda is the producer of the show. Conforming the news, Anele responded to a tweet saying she is ‘behind the scenes.’
