South African rapper Deko Barbara-Jessica Wedi, better known as Rouge, has called out a troll on Twitter who attacked her after the Metro FM Music Awards, which took place last Saturday.

The rapper didn’t receive a nomination for any category, however, she took out the time to celebrate some of the winners on her Twitter account.
A troll commented that the star is not a growing artist, and that seemed to be the last straw for Rouge as she took the time to give the troll a piece of her mind.
“I’m so curious, what do people like yourself get from tearing others down. Does it make you feel great about yourself? Does it bring in more finances? Does hurting other make you happier???? Please let me know cause God forbid anyone treat your family or close friends the same,” she responded to the troll.

“You sir are a dumb ass. You submit for awards moron. I didn’t submit cause I haven’t released a project. You know nothing about this industry but speak as if you work in it. Remain in your place as the consumer and whatever else you do for a living,” she added.

The rap star further bragged about her bank account and a few of her other achievements as a musician.

“Hmm let’s see,my bank account is looking great, I have a number of brands under my belt because of my music, write music for movies, dropping my sophomore album. Heading an ngo that puts gang money in other artists mouths. Did the world cup song. That’s with zero drop you tell me.”
