Robot Boii to host 2nd annual Amapiano awards

South African musician and content creator Mzwakhe Mbuli Jnr popularly known as Robot Boii will host the second annual South African Amapiano Awards.

This year, 2023, will mark the second edition of the Awards since they first took place in 2021 at the Sandton Convention Center 23 October 2021. 

This year, the event will be held at Sun Arena on April 2, 2023, with the theme “Amapiano to the World.”

According to Kaya 959 , DJ Qness, CEO of the South African Amapiano Awards, says: “The South African Amapiano Awards are one of South Africa’s most anticipated music awards which look to celebrate the hottest Amapiano artists in South Africa.”

Taking to his Instagram, the Roboto hit maker shared the exciting news with his followers. ” Introducing…your HOST. ?Get your Tickets & I’ll see you there. ????,” he wrote.

His followers took to his comments section with excitement, congratulating him for this opportunity.

One social media user said: “Beautiful ?❤️ love how you can do it all with ease???? congrats bro.”

Another user added: “The multi talented ?boii, I’m inspired. Congratulations.”

Phil Mphela, an entertainment commentator also took to Twitter to announce that Robot Boii will indeed be the host of the award ceremony.

The ticket sales are already on sale on Computickets. The early bird tickets are R250, VIP retail for R500 and VVIP for R900.
