Congratulations are in order for producer Prince Kaybee as he announced on social media that he had signed to Ingrooves Music Group Africa and will release his first song of 2023 this coming May.

Although Prince Kaybee (born Kabelo Motsamai) is now an independent artist after cutting ties with Universal Music Group, signing with Ingrooves will still benefit the artist. The music company states on its website that it “offers the most advanced proprietary technology, data-driven analytics, and solutions available to independent labels and artists.”

In an Instagram post, Prince Kaybee is seen signing a document. The video is captioned, “Yo Dintshang, We would like to welcome @princekaybee_sa to the Ingrooves family. Looking forward to this new journey with you. Welcome to the family!! ?.”

In the video, the Club Controller hitmaker says, “Thank you so much for coming through. I don’t have much to say. I must just deliver good music and then we make some money.”

In a separate Instagram post, Prince Kaybee announced that he will be releasing a new single on 31 May this year featuring the musician Azana.

“I’ve got a very exciting single coming up featuring the beautiful and talented Azana,” said Prince, adding that he has always wanted to work with her.

While speaking of the song, the DJ noted that it has a strong message attached to it and he is excited for its release.

He concluded, “It’s my first single after my independence. I recently parted ways with Universal Music [Group], as you guys know.” He also said that he is very nervous as he does not know how people will receive his new music.

“I don’t know if I’ve got the right energy to the music yet but right now I’m doing what I feel feels good. So, we’ll see what happens.”
