Prince Kaybee on joining the military

South African DJ Prince Kaybee shared his desire to join the military.

Taking to Twitter now known as X, the DJ asked his fans about the process of applying in order to join the military.  

“How do we apply to join the military, or am I too old?” He wrote.

Many reacted to his post with helpful responses while others simply poke fun at the DJ. 

“If you are above 35 you can still join the army if you have a degree in the field you want to join in eg, IT, Engineering or medicine, at least that was the case when I asked some years ago,” wrote a fan.

“In South Africa, the age limit for military training is typically below 35 years. If you were born in 1999, you might be too old for certain military training programs. It’s essential to check specific requirements with the South African National Defence Force recruitment office,” shared another social media user.

While another user added by simply poking fun at the South African DJ, saying:

“I think yes, you’re a little older, but if you like shooting guns, just Download Call of Duty Mobile, anyone can be soldier there.”
