Okmalumkoolkat mourns his grandmother’s death

South African rapper Smiso Zwane better known as Okmalumkoolkat mourns the passing of his grandmother.

The rapper took to social media and shared photos of the late gogo and captioned it with a brief tribute to her.

“Rest up easy Gogo Original®️ you lived long and well, 5 years short of a century but still was still such a joy to be with. Your life story is and always will be inspirational to me. You did so much for my Olady even though you were uMamkhulu to her, even my first trip to Jozi was funded by your pension money and I will never forget that. Ulale kahle sthandwa sami ?️ (Rest well my love),” he wrote.

Many took to his comments section with love and sent condolences.

“Condolences to you and your family ??. Sending strength and blessings during this difficult period,” a social media user commented.

“Making me cry. May her amazing soul rest in peace. From giving you her pension money to spiritual divine guidance from here on, bless,” another social media user wrote.

“????this just reminded me of uGogo wam’ that lived long enough for me to see her and know her , I know how you must be feeling so just wanted to share my condolences to the whole family and alale kahle uGogo Origional®️ ❤️,” another social media user added.
