Singer and media personality Ntombee Ngcobo Mzolo shared an emotional post yesterday celebrating her late daughter Linile Vunani Mzolo’s birthday.

The Amaponi band member lost her daughter in a car crash in September 2021.

In a 2021 interview with the Daily Sun after her daughter’s departure, Ntombee shared:

“I don’t think I am strong enough to talk about it right now, but she lost her life through a car accident. We’re heartbroken and still coming to terms with her passing.”

The recent post to celebrate late angel Linile saw the mother playing Brandy, ft Gladys Knight and Chaka Khan’s Missing You, she paired the song with a video of lit candles with her late daughter’s face and Linile’s photo on the wall, capturing it:

“This day 5yrs ago was definitely the happiest day of my life. God blessed us with sweetest, cutest and most loving Angel of them all. We miss and love you so much Linile Vunani Mzolo. Thank you for living your best life my baby. You inspire me every day to give life my best shot. Please help me wish our Angel a Happy Heavenly Birthday. #god1st #AngelLinile5 #motherofangels. @familiesofangels.”
