South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha was recently one of the key note speakers at Mpoomy Ledwaba‘s Wisom & Wellness conference.

The headliner speakers also included entrepreneur and speaker Amanda Dambuza. The aim of the event was to motivate the festival goers and equip them on living limitless life -they did not miss a beat!

In her talk, Nomzamo highlighted how ‘visibility and courage’ soared her into a global success

“It starts with visibility. It’s important to be a tangible representation of a dream realized,” she shared.

“I saw it through Siyabonga Nomvete. He grew up in Kwa-Mashu. That man was one of the people whom I’d see in the township driving to his mom and I knew I could do that for myself and my mother on the day. That’s why I continue to be visible in the township.”

The star revealed that it is all about, “pushing beyond self and having courage.”

The Coming 2 America actress shared that even though she was fearful; she had to take a leap of faith.

“Sometimes I’m too afraid but we jump. I remember the first year of Isibaya and suddenly things are happening for me and people are calling me the new IT girl,” she told the audience.

“Part of that was me so not afraid to leave the Titanic when the music was still playing. I don’t leave the Titanic when it is sinking. Leap into the next.

In her talk she noted that not everyone will “understand” your vision but only you know what’s inside.

“They don’t understand because you are not living inside this vessel. What is occupying this vessel is something that is encouraged by the higher intelligence that walks with it,” said Nomzamo Mbatha.
