South African actor Mondli Makhoba, know for his roles on the hit television series Generations: The Legacy and The Wife revealed his Australian ex-wife cheated on him.

According to Sunday World, the popular actor was married to an Australian woman when he was 22 years old, and the pair even have two children together.

Mondli shared the details of his failed marriage on Dr Fundile Nyati’s Health Matters Podcast.

“I was once married because I like family, many see [this] with the work that I do. I wanted a family and have kids in wedlock,” the actor shared.

He continued by saying, “I was married to an Australian woman and we have two kids today, but it did not work because of many things, but mostly our cultural differences.”

According to the South African, the actor said that his marriage ended primarily because his former wife cheated on him. He even shared coffee with the man she had been sleeping with.

He further revealed that in the relationship she had made him feel as if he was not man enough, as he couldn’t fulfil certain tasks at the time.

“I am a man who cries, so when she told me how not a man I was, I went to see her in Shangai. I went to her so we can fix our relationship. I was supposed to stay there for two weeks but the trip was cut to four days.”

The actor shared that following the dissolving of his marriage, he cried on a flight back to South Africa.
