Thokozani Ndlovu, also known as L’vovo Derrango took to his social media recently to share disappointing news that he would not be performing at the upcoming Cotton Festival, as previously arranged. The musician and Uzalo featured actor highlighted that this decision was based on what his doctor had advised was best for his health.

L’vovo was recently hospitalized after suffering a stroke in December and has since been working on his recovery journey.

The Bayang’sukela hit maker, shared these news via a statement sent through Yebophela Entertainment, a company he co-owns with other artists.

The statement reads:

“The past few months have been one of the toughest periods of my life… I’ve literally had to watch my life flash before me. Through it all, I’ve received unwavering support from my fans, family and friends. I’ve been in constant engagement with my doctor these past few days about my condition. Regrettably, the doctor has advised me to take it easy since I have not fully recovered.

“I am sorry to announce that after lengthy discussions we have taken a decision to not perform at the Cotton Fest this coming weekend. My since apologies for any inconvenience caused and I hope to partake in the festival in the near future when I have fully recovered. To the Cotton Fest organisers, Thank you so much for wanting me to be part of your event.”
