“I am not a single mother”- Mphowabadimo reveals

by Unathi Balele

Big Brother Mzansi winner Michelle Dimpho Mvundla better known as Mpho Wa Badimo speaks about her pregnancy after the birth of her son.

The BBMzansi 2022 winner revealed that she was pregnant last year however before the birth of her bundle of joy, she and her lover, Themba Broly broke up.

Mpho has reflected on the pregnancy journey on her YouTube channel.

“When the pregnancy started, it was not an easy time. It was not a joyous time. But I think me coming home was the perfect thing because it made me focus on my pregnancy, it made me focus on my baby and that is when I started to look at things differently,” she said.

“There were so many instances where I felt like I was going to have a premature birth because of the stress I suffered in the first trimester of my pregnancy. I was going through it.”

Mpho also revealed that she appreciates motherhood despite having two kids from different men; she also doesn’t perceive herself as a single mom, but a happy mother to two amazing boys.

“Every pregnancy has taken me on a journey of its own. And with this pregnancy, above everything else, I experienced a lot of growth. I went through so many things that shaped the woman you see today. Motherhood is priceless. I enjoy every moment.”

“I don’t want to raise my children as a broken parent. I want to raise them as a happy, healthy, free and strong woman that I am. I am not a single mother. I am a boy mom to two amazing boys,” she added.
