DJ Zinhle is no stranger to South African music charts. She is easily one of South Africa’s most celebrated DJ’s, with a career spanning years.

She has wowed many with her outstanding talent, so it’s no surprise that her latest track, “Thula“, featuring Cici, is topping Metro FM’s music chart.

Following the single’s success, the beloved DJ quickly took to social media to express her gratitude and celebrate her big win on the music chart.

She captioned the post: “I am so happy I could cry, #Thula is the No1 song on Metro FM’s Top 30 countdown. This means a lot to us @ciciworldwide. A big thank you to Metro FM and a special shout out to @kyeezi.”

The song is a smash hit, and numbers don’t lie. It wasn’t too long ago when the song, after reaching the top 10 on the iTune charts, was removed from Apple Music and iTunes.

When the song was removed from the two streaming platforms, the DJ shared:

“I’m exhausted…. I don’t know why #Thula is not available on Apple Music & iTunes.. we are figuring it out. Never had to fight so much for a song ay… It’s available on other platforms.”

DJ Zinhle has also verbalised that she is tired of internet trolls scrutinising her marriage after making headlines, when a video of her and Usher gained a significant negative reaction, with many claiming that she was being inappropriate and disrespecting her marriage. We all know that this is not the case, as the video lacks context and seems that the exchange was simply platonic.
