Anthony Hamilton to serenade Mzansi music lovers this September

International music sensation Anthony Hamilton is coming to South Africa on 23 and 24 September, at Pretoria’s SunBet Arena. The Up Close & Personal with Anthony Hamilton show at SunBet Arena @ Time Square, Menlyn Maine is set to commence at 16:00 with tickets starting from R450 for general and up to R2550 for VIP.

The tickets booking site shared:

“Following the overwhelming response to the concert set for 23rd September, Up Close & Personal is pleased to announce one more night at The Sun Bet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria on Sunday the 24th September 2023, HERITAGE DAY. Heritage Day recognises and celebrates the cultural wealth of our nation. South Africans celebrate the day by remembering the cultural heritage of the many cultures that make up the population of South Africa.”

Taking to his social media platforms, the Best of Me hit maker shared a video on Facebook announcing that due to an increase in demand they had added a second performance on the same venue for the, as he was initially due for one performance.

He added a new post on his Instagram a few days ago, captioning it:

“???? What better way to celebrate my 20-year album anniversary “Coming From Where I’m From” than with an up close and personal night in South Africa ? Can’t wait to see you!”

Social media viewers and excited ticket holders flooded the comment section commenting:

“??? we’ve been ready! Best believe we will be singing every song.”

“Congratulations ?????????. Do ya dance Sir! May they add a 3rd show!! Sell out and do ya dang dance ?! Be safe and have a blast! Congratulations and many blessings to come Anthony!!????❤️❤️❤️.”

“Thank God I once met you back in 2018 at Mahika Mahikeng here in South Africa. You were just amazing. I’ll never forget the motivation you gave my friend and I when we were on stage with you.”

Calling Anthony by his South African given name Mzwandile, that he got when he came to perform at the Macufe Music Festival in Bloemfontein, one user commented:

“Mzwandile Ta Zwai coming to SA ??.”
