After receiving flak from South Africans for representing Eswatini as a BET Awards nominee, Uncle Waffles is now getting trolled by Americans targeting her hair, makeup, nails and teeth after a video of her at popular American jewellery store Icebox made its rounds on social media.

The now-deleted promotional video uploaded on Instagram by Icebox featured the South African-based amapiano DJ advising people to purchase their ice (another term for jewellery) at the store.

The video has, however, been shared on Twitter. The DJ is heard saying, “Make sure you come get your ice the same way I’m coming to get my ice here at Icebox, alright? Icebox dot com.”

Those who commented on the original Instagram video were not shy to share their opinions of the Tanzania hitmaker’s appearance.

However, there were individuals who showed compassion towards Uncle Waffles.

I’m convinced that Americans want everyone to have those ugly ass veneers

Waffles bothers no one, they need to leave her alone . https://t.co/K34835wOi3

Still feeling salty about the country she is representing at the BET Awards, many South African tweeps felt it was not their duty to defend the DJ, but rather her home country’s.

Eswatini people you are up fam. We shall observe from the sidelines. https://t.co/yxsDWWkEKn pic.twitter.com/ObgNRt6O4R
