South African rapper Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge also known by his fans and stage name as A-Reece has reached 50 million streams on Spotify.

The rapper is now joining SA rappers who have reached the mark, AKA, Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest.

According to an interview the rapper had with DJ Sbu on The Hustlers corner, Reece said “I’m the best rapper in Africa

On the podcast, when the rapper was asked who his favorite rapper was, he instantly responded saying “It’s Stogie T.”

DJ Sbu excitedly responded, saying “I like that you’re giving Stogie T his flowers while he is still alive.”

However, some hip-hop fans did not agree with the statement made by Reece saying “he is the best rapper in Africa.”

@officialcalidbn wrote: “Bro why you always say this just make music after all ya’ll got big heads for what . Just make music I’m tired of hearing all of ya’ll talk the same thing man.”

@where_is_slim also shared: “No disrespect that isn’t true, I love your music and your rap style but u are not there yet so humble yourself.

The paradise hitmaker released his seven track album called Deadlines in October last year and has been topping the charts that has resulted to him gaining over 50 streams.

According to HiphopMagazine the rapper has been releasing his music independently under Revenge records.
