In a statement, the organiser shared that they are keeping track of the situation around the coronavirus outbreak. Glen21 said in part; “With the current uncertainty around COVID19 over the next few weeks, the team is closely monitoring the situation and have pushed the live show out to later in the year. The show is now confirmed to take place on Women’s Day, Sunday the 9th of August at the Sun Arena in Pretoria.”

Scorpion Kings Live will be the first-of-its-kind curated 3-hour long show that will feature live performances from a string of talented South Africa artists to be announced over the next few months.

To keep fans excited for the August show, Maphorisa and Kabza will be doing a series of live streams on their social media platforms to offer fans a small taste of the upcoming live concert. These will kick off on 27 March.
