Rihanna makes Billboard chart history

Award-winning musician Rihanna had made Billboard Chart history by becoming the first female musician to spend over 200 weeks on the charts. The star’s eighth studio album, ANTI, has been on the music charts since it was first released in 2016.

This is one of ANTI’s many accolades. A month after its release, it was certified platinum and earned Rihanna become the first artist in history to have 100 million song certification from RIIA. In 2017 Rihanna took over Michael Jackson’s spot for most Top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100.

It’s the first album by a black female artist to reach this milestone in the chart’s history.
