Nomzamo Mbatha bids farewell to Isibaya

Actress and philanthropist Nomzamo Mbatha has bid farewell to Mzansi Magic soapie, Isibaya after eight years. The star left in dramatic fashion after her character on the show, Thandeka, was shot by her father’s archnemesis, Judas, played by Menzi Ngubane.

Nomzamo’s co-stars shared an emotional video in which they said their farewells to her. She took to social media to express her gratitude to them. She said in part; “I’m weeping at this unexpected & heartbreakingly beautiful surprise. Ngiyabonga to my friends… my family. What a journey. Thank you for raising & challenging me into becoming the performer that I am today. It’s not goodbye, it’s a see you later.”
