A few local celebs headed over to the US to attend Afropunk Brooklyn over the weekend. While some were performing and on hosting duties, others were there to enjoy the festival.

Here’s a look at who got up to what.

Day 2 of #AfropunkBrooklyn was amazing and very exhausting ?? Nakhane had an awesome performance. The crowd went crazy for Pusha T. Dj Lag played an electric Gqom set that had Sho Madjozi spontaneously take to the stage & me lose my mind dancing ???????????? Jenelle Monae was perfect. Erykah Badu aka Sara Bellum aka FatBellyBella aka Medulla Oblongata closed off #AfropunkBrooklyn in her unique style
