Letshego Zulu returns to Mount Kilimanjaro

Letshego Zulu has set off to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in honour of her late race car driver and adventure enthusiast husband, Gugu Zulu. The climb to Africa’s highest mountain is an annual Mandela Day initiative to raise funds for sanitary pads and keep girl children in school. We hail the athlete for her bravery in going back to the mountain almost a year after losing her husband.

Tonight is summit night. Long walk ahead. Starts now at 8 to Kibo which we must reach by around 17h00 and then off to summit at 23h00. We’re all great! Thank you SA for your love and best wishes.
