Catching up with actress Millicent Makhado

by Bongiwe Tshiqi

We chat to Former Muvhango actress Millicent Makhado to find out what she has been up to.

By: Fundiswa Nkwanyana

1.We know you as an actress; how would you describe yourself?

I’m a God-fearing woman who is humble and honest. I’m also a mother, motivational speaker, TV presenter and MC.

2. When did you realise that you wanted to be an actress?

I fell in love with the art of acting when I was in high school because I enjoyed taking part in plays. The passion I had for school plays made me realise that I wanted to be an actress.

3. What are you currently working on?

I am back on the set of Scandal! on e.tv, and I recently wrapped up shooting another international short film called In A Heart Beat, set to air at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017.

4. What are your future plans?

I am pregnant, so I’m taking time off to welcome my second child into the world. This year has been good to me in terms of my career and personal life, and I plan on keeping it that way!
