5 Mins With Bontle Sithole

by Amanda Ndlangisa

Muvhango has been heating up lately and has got everyone raving about Busi and her sex tape with her professor. We had a quick chat with Bontle Sithole, who plays Busi, about her role and her leaked sex tape. Bontle-

How did you get the role of Busi on Muvhango?

A friend of mine told me about the auditions a day before the auditions, and I thought I’d go try it out. A day later I got a call that the role was mine!

How did you feel about that call?

It was unreal because I doubted myself in the beginning. It took a while to sink in. busi-muvhango

Your sex tape storyline is the most talked about right now. Did you think that would happen?

I kind of knew it would get this big because it is realistic. Students getting involved with their professors happen often, and the fact that he took advantage of Busi is even more realistic.

What advice would you give someone who just had their nude or sex tape leaked?

I would advise young girls to speak up. It might be embarrassing to tell your parents or friends, but something like that cannot be kept under wraps. So, talk to someone you can trust – don’t take matters into your own hands and definitely don’t try to take your life like Busi! b-sithole-

What’s in store for Busi?

I can’t say much right now, but she will survive her suicide attempt and things will get a bit more dramatic before they get better. Keep watching. Catch Muvhango every weekday at 9pm on SABC 2
