4 Reasons We Love Suffocate

by Boitumelo Mmakou

Rhythm City is one of South Africa’s leading soapies, but we may not all be watching it for the same reason. For most ladies the main motive for enjoying the soapie is because of Mduduzi Mabaso aka Suffocate. We are introduced to Mduduzi as Suffocate in Rhythm City – a bad boy-turned bar man-turned businessman. A few years after his introduction, we have fallen in love with him.

Here are the reasons why:

BAD BOY

Yes, we know bad boys are a no go, but can’t help but find Mduduzi super attractive and intriguing. For some odd reason, the actor is total go, but we can’t help but imagine how he would be perfect for us.

TOTALLY LOCAL

If there is one thing that stands out about Mduduzi, it is his ability to keep it real and local. This South African actor is a perfect representation of the hood boy. His use of the kasi vocabulary and colloquial talk often makes us go uh and ah.

DRESS CODE

We wouldn’t call him fashionable, but must admit to liking his dapper kasi outfits and on and off attempt to look formal.

BANGING BODY

Last but definitely not least, we love his body. Should there be nothing else you liked from our list, the one thing you should do is acknowledge the sexiness that is Mduduzi’s body.
