A salon pedicure at home

Getting a salon perfect pedicure doesn’t have to cost you a lot of money. Here is a breakdown of how you can do a pedicure at home.

Step 1: Fill a tub with warm water. Add a desired amount of foot soak or Epsom salts. Soak your feet for at least 5–10 minutes.

Step 2: Dry your feet with a towel, and use a pumice stone or foot file to remove hard skin. Apply a foot scrub to exfoliate, then rinse and towel-dry.

Step 3: Apply heel balm or foot butter to hydrate them.

Step 4: Trim and shape your toenails to prevent ingrown nails. Prepare for nail polish by pushing back your cuticles with a cuticle pusher.

Step 5: Finish off by applying your favourite nail polish.
