Lwandle Ngwenya wins Miss Bachelorette SA 2023

The annual Miss Bachelorette SA took place this past weekend (Saturday) at Gold Reef City.

The sixteen finalists who were chosen among many entries battled it out for the big title.

The pageant’s Instagram page posted a video of the ladies looking breath taking in blue swimwear by a local fashion house.

Lwazi Ngwenya, a beauty from Kwazulu- Natal seemed to be a favourite among those who commented on the pageant’s Instagram page.

Instagram user commented: “Lwandle…. Go get your crown Queen,” this was commented shorty after the top ten was announced from the top 16.

As it got closer to the crowning of the winner, Lwandle’s support became evident that she had potential to take the title home.

After the announcement that the Kwazulu-Natal beauty had won the the title, many could not contain their excitement with user @shereallytall writing, “Beautifully done ….. A true Queen, indeed”.

User @mankoana wrote, “A QUEEN , congratulations and wishing you all of the very best with your reign. To all the ladies you were absolutely incredible, you showed up and you truly inspired. May you not stop now but continue to be a catalyst and forge on with all that is placed on your heart.”

Lwandle, a 2022 Jewellery Design and Manufacture (Advance Studies) graduate, thanked her fellow contestants on her personal Instagram page for a beautiful sisterhood that she gained from taking part in the pageant.

She wrote: “To all my fellow contestants sisters, ur sisterhood has been our highest win. I can’t wait to create memories that we have already spoken about.”

The beauty queen also went on to thank the founder and CEO of the pageant Refilwe and said, ” I love you… You are breaking boundaries and doing all of it with elegance and grace. May all your hard work continue to inspire generations to come.”

We wish Lwandle well on her reign as Miss Bachelorette 2023, and hope to see more of her on our screens.
