Beret basics: how to wear this season’s must-have

by All4Women

Berets are also all over Instagram, which means they’re basically a compulsory winter buy. We love how easy they are to pair with any outfit.

1. Black berets. If Linda and Beyonce are wearing black berets, then you know they are this season’s must-have. And just like them, you can dress this look up or down.

2. Pastel pink. Pastel pink berets in different textures are a fashion do. Think faux fur to knitted and even velvet.

Once you’ve chosen a beret, here are some tips on how to wear your beret:

  • Don’t wear high hairstyles with a beret. Either wear your hair loose (curly or straight), braid it (two braids on either side or one braid to the side works well) or tie it in a low ponytail.
  • If your beret won’t stay in place, use bobby pins to pin it at an angle you like.
