Belinda Davids plays Whitney Housten at Emperors Palace

Music lovers will get a chance hear their favourite Whitney songs when South African songstress Belinda Davids brings Whitney Houston to life in a stage performance at Emperors Palace.

I always knew that I wanted to sing. I’m happy to be finally living out my childhood dream. I had no idea that singing my idols’ music would take me around the world and allow me the opportunity to sing in front of global audiences.

This upcoming show is one of my career highlights.  Being able to do a tribute to the great Whitney Houston on this scale and on such a prestigious stage is an incredible feeling. It’s exciting to be travelling the world and keeping her memory alive.  I’m inspired to keep pushing to make this show everything and more for her fans.

Performing her songs is nerve wrecking every time.  The challenge of belting out 21 songs that are 100% on point each and every single time does add pressure. But all that really doesn’t matter, because at the end of the day it’s that rush that I love so much. It’ll be my first time performing at Emperors Palace and I look forward to having an absolutely incredible time on stage with the beautiful audience.
