Beer-marinated Steak

You have to try this delicious steak recipe!

Prep time: 50 minutes

Cooking time: 4 minutes

Serves: 4

  • 4 sirloin steaks, cubed
  • 1 cup (250ml) stout beer
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ cup (125ml) oil
  • ½ cup (125ml) balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons treacle syrup
  • Salt and pepper
  • Pesto for serving
  1. Mix beer, bay leaf, oil, balsamic vinegar and syrup in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add steak and marinate for 30–45minutes.
  3. Heat griddle pan. Fry steak for 3–4 minutes each side.
  4. Serve with pesto.
