Man Crush Monday – Siphesihle Vazi

by Boitumelo Mmakou

For many years Selimathunzi has been known for entertaining and providing viewers more information about celebrities. The show has seen many presenters, but now, Siphesihle Vazi joins the programme as its new face.

vazi-2How has your stay been so far?

It’s been awesome. And even when I do shoots, I still get time to study and have a person life.

How did you get the gig?

I did one episode with them as a guest presenter. The producers seemed to like me. They called me back for a few screen tests and, within no time, I was given the job.

You will be joining a dynamic team, and a brand with a huge following. What will you be bringing to the show?

My personality will speak for itself. I could never be Zizo or Lunga; I can only bring in my own style.

vazi

You mentioned that you are currently studying.

Yes, I’m currently doing my final year in BA Marketing and Communications at the University of Johannesburg.

When you aren’t at school or shooting with Selimathunzi, what else do you do?

I’m a farmer. I’ve been trying to get serious about it. I also want to encourage people to get into agriculture so they can get jobs.

vazi3As a single guy, what are you looking for in your ideal girl?

I would like to date someone humble, self-driven and beautiful, of course.

What would be the best place for a date?

I’m not the romantic type, but perhaps anywhere where we could spend quality time would be alright.
