What inspires your look?

I feel that fashion, beauty and hair are always linked. So my clothing is a mixture of street style and elegance, which allows me to be free with my hair. I have been experimental with the type of hairstyles I go for lately and play with what is trendy and current.

How do you care for your hair no matter what the style?

I believe that hair needs to be washed and treated weekly. The products we use build up and washing your hair will refresh your look. The more you treat your hair, the better the quality of your hair.

Hair trends evolve regularly and people are not afraid to explore those trends. What do you think are the biggest hair trends right now?

Ladies with weaves are loving the lace closures. They are great because they allow you to have more freedom with your style and your natural hair is not exposed to the harsh heat when styling. Don’t be afraid to play with colour on your hair, be it blonde, copper or browns because these colours complement our skin tones. Add character to your hair by adding ocean wave curls or be creative with hair accessories like a bow. For those who love short hair, go for the edgy look by trying the asymmetrical bob with uneven sides.

Which hair product do you swear by in order to maintain healthy hair?

I find that hair food is the best rescue for your hairline and it keeps your hair healthy.

What has been your biggest hair challenge and how did you overcome it?

My biggest hair challenge has always been keeping my hair healthy with the different hairstyles I do. I stick with using the same hair products on my natural hair and give it a break on a monthly basis has helped keep my hair healthy.

I am my happiest when my hair is…

Looking and feeling healthy.
