No matter how intense a game may be, you can trust that South Africans will use such moments to fuel their creativity and have the whole nation in stitches.

As the nation eagerly await for Saturday night’s big game, Mzansi has decided that the fate of the Springboks now lies in their hands and active measures need to be implemented to guarantee that our national rugby team do as they did in 2019.

South Africans in the meantime are willing to go the extra mile as a means to secure the Webb Elis cup, ensuring that it remains right where it belongs. While the tension builds up, many of our popular names have taken to social media platforms with hysterically funny suggestions that South Africa should engage in as preparation for this game.

After the Springboks’ victory in their recent match with England, Dr. Musa took to instagram to share a victory dance:

In a recent post, Dr. Musa performed his regular standard procedure of serving social media users with the Mthombeni’s being adorable. However, the doctor exposed, that the caption and picture do not match up as he questioned social media users as to what the preparations for the big game are.

He captioned his post:

“This post has nothing to do with the caption. I’m just here to find out what the plan for Saturday is Bangani. Where are we watching the game? What are we wearing? When they do the haka are we going to just stand there or are we also going to do the Mnike dance routine as retaliation? Which cologne are we using? Which bank card must we swipe? Which cut of meat must we put in the braai stand? Which drink must use to fill the cups? I need answers quickly. kuyaphuthuma! I don’t want mistakes!”

An X (formerly Twitter) user who goes by the handle Kooks made a public suggestion announcing that the country should simply repeat everything that they were doing back in 2019 as our fate now lies in our hands. He labelled the segment ‘Kooks Corner’ sharing that “whatever you did in the build up of the rugby world cup final in 201, I need you to do it again this week. He closes of the video by stating that “we are one win away from a public holiday on Monday.”
