Gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard has revealed the reason why she will no longer perform this Saturday at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban.

Tasha touched down in South Africa to perform for the Magic Music Sessions in Pretoria at the SunBet Arena on 21 September as well as in Cape Town at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town this Friday, 22 September.

Taking to Instagram, the multi-award-winning songstress shared a video of her explanation. She captioned her post, “With love, Durban! I’m so sorry for the disappointment. I, too, am soooo disappointed, I was looking forward to worshipping with you! ?❤️.”

In the video, she stated, “I am so disappointed and so sad about our Durban show which has been cancelled by the promoter. I was super excited to come to Durban as we have been looking forward to this for years. Due to the promoter not upholding his end and promise that he made, things such as booking hotels and flights for my team to make sure that we get to you, were just not done.”

She continued, “I do not know what was said to you guys but I want to make sure you hear my heart… So, from my heart to yours, I wanted to share the truth as to why we are in South Africa but not coming to Durban. It is well beyond what we are in control of.”
