DJ Shimza apologises for missing gigs

DJ Shimza has opened up about why he has missed some of the gigs he was booked for recently.

The international South African disc jockey has taken to social media to apologise to his fans and event promoters after missing a few gigs he was booked for and had the support of several social media followers after he shared why he couldn’t make it to his gigs.

According to the South African, DJ Shimza attended Burning Man festival in Nevada where he was stranded along with attendees due to floods. An individual who attended the event had been reported to have passed away. As investigation is said to have been opened regarding the death.

DJ Shimza explained that he was stuck at the event and couldn’t show up to any of his gigs as a result.

“I missed some shows this past weekend and it’s coz I was stuck on the playa with no way to get out. Apologies to the event organisers and everyone who was looking forward to seeing me. [I] will definitely try to find a way to make it up ??????♥️♥️♥️♥️,” he explained.

Fans understood the situation and showered the DJ with sympathy and support for his decision.

Fans headed to the comment section to express their support.

“We missed you at Arc!!!!! ? literally top of list to see,” @jsquared721 said.

“Ahhhh we missed you so much at ARC, I had afters tickets just for you ? but I hope you truly got the depth of experience that BM always provides. Lots of communitas and inspiration! Will see you soon, in just the right time ???,” @katrinaalexendria wrote.
