Watch: Woman’s wig snatched in Jozi

A young woman was left traumatised after getting her wig snatched in Johannesburg CBD. 

The young woman took to her TikTok account where she uploaded a video showing herself wearing just a wig cap and what looked like a closure instead of her human hair wig.

Users of social media were shocked as they saw the post and watched the woman showcase her head. In her caption, she explained how she had just started walking down street of Jozi when the hair was snatched.

“My wig gosh ripped off my head in Jozi CBD.”

Many people took to her comments section to advise the young lady on what to do for her wig to not get snatched again.

“If it’s installed wear a doek or cap and tuck in the rest of the hair in your jacket or just avoid wearing it, mine also got snatched I said no more?,” wrote a social media user.

“Always wear a bonnet when you leave the salon ko CBD,” a TikTok user suggested.

Another user advised: “Try to remove it with a towel soaked in hot water?.”

Another user wrote: “Argh shame sorry sis ????. Hope you have healed from the trauma.”

“How do they have enough time to do this much damage? Or are they using extreme force? ?,” asked another social media user.

While another shared their story of getting they wig snatched too.

“??????Happened to me last year August.”
