Big Zulu announces a concert aimed to rebuild fire victim’s house

Siyabonga Johanes Nene famously known as Big Zulu has once again shown his humility and love for the people.

The rapper who is loved by many for rapping in his mother tongue and producing hit after hit took to his social media to share that his record company Inkabi Records was to host a show in Newcastle in order to raise funds to build a house for a fire victim family.

The Ivolovolo hitmaker shared photos of kids in a classroom and a few showing some parts of the burnt house, as well as the shack that the family is now using.

The gentle giant captured his post:

“Nkabi Nation niyakhumbula enyangeni ezendlula ngahamba ngayosiza lomtwana kanye neFamily yakhe eNewcastle ngabathembisa ukuth ngizobuya ngizobakhela indlu leya kubo eyasha??so this Sunday nge 13 August thina as iNkabi Nation senza event eNewcastle to Fundraise imali yokufeza iphupha laloya mndeni??poster izophuma kusasa ??.”

“(Nkabi nation, do you remember a few months ago I went to help the Newcastle child and the family, I promised that I’d return to build them a house after theirs got burnt?? , so this Sunday 13 August, we as iNkabi Nation will be hosting an event in Newcastle to raise funds in order to fulfil the family’s dream ??, the poster will be out tomorrow??).”

Social media users commented on how the award-winning rapper was one of a kind, adding:

“???Kwande lana uthathe khona! Shwele?.”

“Syababongela bakithi I Nkosi ithelu umusa?.”

“????? Khuphuka nkabi nation ngokusiza abantu ?????????.”

“Stay blessed ?? nkabi’yam ???.”

Some user shared their disappointment at the singer for post about his kind gesture, adding:

” I wish you guys would just do these good things without humiliating or exposing anyone’s private spaces or circumstances for the whole world to see. The blessing is in disguising.”

“I don’t think it’s necessary to post this, even though you have helped people. Keep it between the family and you. I don’t see a point of posting about this.”
