Khosi Twala praised for red carpet hosting duties

Journalist and winner of Big Brother Titans Khosi Twala received praise from her fans on social media after her gig as a red carpet host at the 10th annual Simon ‘Mabhunu’ Sabela KZN Film and Television Awards on Saturday, 22 July, at the ICC Durban.

Named after South Africa’s first black film director, the Simon ‘Mabhunu’ Sabela KZN Film and Television Awards recognises outstanding achievement and excellence within the South African film and television industry. The awards show specifically focuses on the actors, producers, directors and various film and television technicians in the province.

Khosi – who hails from Newcastle, KZN – interviewed many of Mzansi’s biggest and brightest stars, including Baby Cele (Uzalo), Thembi Nyandeni (Isibaya), and Jerry Mofokeng (Tsotsi), and was shown love for both her outfit and natural hosting abilities.

Posting images of her outfit on Twitter, Khosi wrote, “Your Red Carpet host ready to do the most.”

“You were born for this,” wrote one of Khosi’s fans.

“Khosi’s smile can make thousands smile too,” wrote another.

Khosi had also retweeted a video of herself with Sarafina! star Leleti Khumalo. The tweet was captioned, “The moment on the red carpet when the legendary mam Leleti Khumalo gave Khosi her praises for representing us siyi country.”
